About Batraxoi

Batraxoi was established in 1980 to publish and perform ensemble works for instruments and voices. Since then it has performed in many locations in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, presenting both seasonal concerts and premieres of new works by its members. Some of the original works that have been performed by Batraxoi are available through Beinn-Ard, including both "The Midwife of Bethlehem" and the stories collected in "A Cradle for the Child". The oratorio "Yona", to be performed by Batraxoi on April 9th and 10th, will also be published by Beinn Ard. Please feel free to visit the Batraxoi homepage for more information.

Garth Griffin is a musician and computer scientist. He earned his B.A. from Swarthmore College with a double major in music and computer science. Garth\\\'s primary instrument is jazz piano, and he is featured in a number of recordings available for free download from Beinn-Ard. Lotta Suter is a journalist, book author and translator. Her writing encompasses political essays as well as children\\\\\\'s poems. She is also a singer and violinist and featured in many of the recordings on this site. Lotta Suter has been a member of the singing group Batraxoi for many years.
